The World According to Monsanto (English) DVD-Quality True 480p

Monsanto and the story of Roundup and Roundup Ready Soybeans.

Vanishing of the Bees

http://www.vanishingbees.com/

Synopsis

Honeybees have been mysteriously disappearing across the planet, literally vanishing from their hives.

Known as Colony Collapse Disorder, this phenomenon has brought beekeepers to crisis in an industry responsible for producing apples, broccoli, watermelon, onions, cherries and a hundred other fruits and vegetables. Commercial honeybee operations pollinate crops that make up one out of every three bites of food on our tables.

Vanishing of the Bees follows commercial beekeepers David Hackenberg and Dave Mendes as they strive to keep their bees healthy and fulfill pollination contracts across the U.S. The film explores the struggles they face as the two friends plead their case on Capital Hill and travel across the Pacific Ocean in the quest to protect their honeybees.

Filming across the US, in Europe, Australia and Asia, this documentary examines the alarming disappearance of honeybees and the greater meaning it holds about the relationship between mankind and mother earth. As scientists puzzle over the cause, organic beekeepers indicate alternative reasons for this tragic loss. Conflicting options abound and after years of research, a definitive answer has not been found to this harrowing mystery.

Dr. Magda Havas, PhD

December 1, 2010.  Wireless Smart Meters for “Do It Yourself” home studies.

If the electric utility has recently installed a new wireless Smart Meter on the side of your house, you might be able to do your own plant experiments using simple before and after photography.

Below is a video of an emerald green euonymous plant that shows the progression of vegetative decay around a wireless smart meter. Before the Wireless Smart Meter was installed, vibrant green healthy foliage completely surrounded the meter and a robin nested above the meter.  Now, the leaves closest to the meter are damaged and the robin is gone.

Smart Meter Killing Shrub

Dr. Havas’s research since the 1990s  is concerned with the biological effects of electromagnetic pollution including radio frequency radiation, electromagnetic fields, dirty electricity, and ground current. She works with diabetics as well as with individuals who have multiple sclerosis, tinnitus, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and those who are electrically hypersensitive. She also conducts research on sick building syndrome as it relates to power quality in schools

Since the mid 1990s Dr. Havas has taught about electromagnetic pollution in several courses at Trent University  and has supervised Reading Courses and Honours Thesis Projects in this area.  One of the courses deals specifically with the biological effects of electromagnetic fields and electromagnetic radiation.  This is one of the few courses available in North America at a senior undergraduate level critically examining the effects of non-ionizing radiation.

Dr. Havas recently wrote, with Camilla Rees, Public Health SOS: The Shadow Side of the Wireless Revolution and has co-edited three books and has published more than 100 articles.

Most Recent Study on the Heart

Her most recent paper (October 22, 2010), documents definitive evidence that radiation from a cordless phone, common in many homes, causes heart arrhythmia and tachycardia (rapid heart rate) and alters the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system similar to a “fight-or-flight” stress response.  It is the first study of its kind demonstrating such a dramatic and repeatable response to pulsed-microwave radiation at levels 0.5% of federal guidelines in both Canada and the U.S.  This double-blind, peer-reviewed study in the European Journal of Oncology LIbrary Vol 5 2010, is called “Provocation Study using Heart Rate Variability shows Radiation from 2.4 GHz Cordless Phone affects Autonomic Nervous System.”  It clearly shows that some individuals are hypersensitive to this radiation and react immediately and only during active provocation.

Active Denial System

Humvee with ADS mounted

The Active Denial System (ADS) is a non-lethal, directed-energy weapon developed by the U.S. military,[1] designed for area denial, perimeter security and crowd control.[2] Informally, the weapon is also called the heat ray[3] since it works by heating the surface of targets, such as the skin of targeted human subjects. Raytheon is currently marketing a reduced-range version of this technology.[4] The ADS was deployed in 2010 with the United States military in the Afghanistan War, but was withdrawn without seeing combat.[5] On August 20, 2010, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department announced its intent to use this technology on prisoners in the Pitchess Detention Center in Los Angeles, stating its intent to use it in "operational evaluation" in situations such as breaking up prisoner fights.[6] The ADS is currently only a vehicle-mounted weapon, though U.S. Marines and police are both working on portable versions.[7] ADS was developed under the sponsorship of the DoD Non-Lethal Weapons Program with the Air Force Research Laboratory as the lead agency.[8][9] There are reports that Russia is developing its own version of the Active Denial System.[10]

Silent Guardian

Defense contractor Raytheon has developed a smaller version of the ADS, the Silent Guardian. This stripped-down model is primarily marketed for use by law enforcement agencies, the military and other security providers. The system is operated and aimed with a joystick and aiming screen. The device can be used for targets up to 550 m away.[11]

LA County jail is now installing the smaller-sized unit on the ceiling of their jail.[52]

Michael Hanlon – who volunteered to experience its effects – described it as "a bit like touching a red-hot wire, but there is no heat, only the sensation of heat." Raytheon says that pain ceases instantly upon removal of the ray; still, Hanlon reported that the finger he subjected "was tingling hours later."[53]

Long Range Acoustic Device

The Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD) is an acoustic hailing device and sonic weapon developed by LRAD Corporation to send messages, warnings, and harmful, pain inducing tones over longer distances than normal loudspeakers. LRAD systems have been used to counter piracy, as non-lethal crowd control weapons, and as communication devices.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the systems weigh from 15 to 320 pounds (6.8 to 150 kg) and can emit sound in a 30° beam at 2.5 kHz.[1]

LRAD systems are used by maritime, law enforcement, military and commercial security companies to send instructions and warnings over distances, and to force compliance. LRAD is also used to deter wildlife from airport runways, wind and solar farms, nuclear power facilities, mining and agricultural operations and other industrial facilities.

That's the second big challenge when setting up a Wi-Fi network: making sure the radio waves don't run into any obstacles. Everything blocks Wi-Fi signals a little. Wood, plaster, cinder blocks, and glass don't interfere much, but brick, stone, and water (think of that 30-gallon fish tank) can be more problematic. Worse still are ceramic, concrete, metal, and mirrors, which reflect visible light and radio waves alike.

bullet proof vest ceramic plates ? OR Wi-Fi protection

Our ballistic plates can stop Level III ballistic threats, and two of our models can even withstand Level IV threats.

As such, they provide protection from high velocity rifle rounds, and some forms of armor-piercing ammunition.

Often inserted into pouches found on the front and back of certain vests, they provide additional protection to critical abdominal areas, such as the heart and lungs.

These plates are strongly recommended if entering heavy combat situations. However, as they are easily removable and insertable, they can be quickly called upon if the risk of danger suddenly increases.
